National stadium at Warsaw is the home stadium of Poland. Adam Nawalka is the head coach of the team and Robert Lewandowski is the captain. The Poland National Football Team‘s first international match was on December 18, 1921. The team is in Group H in FIFA World Cups.

Poland had won gold medal in Summer Olympics in 1972 in Munich, silver medal in Montreal in 1976 and silver medal in Barcelona in 1992. In 1974 FIFA World Cup, Poland played against England at Wembley Stadium. Poland reached semi-finals against Germany resulted 0-1 defeat. Poland defeated Germany by 1-0 and claimed third position in the tournament.
