Everton Too Close To Signing Digne
Everton is in the top of the race to sign the Barca duo Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina. Two clubs already set to have reached an agreement with the transfer, however, the fee is yet to be disclosed.
Digne came to Barcelona from PSG two years back following a 15 million pound move, with just 46 caps across all competition Digne did not enjoy playing in Barca colors. Digne being a left back did not get enough minutes to show his potential rather he was always a second choice to the left-back Jordi Alba.
It is rumored that both the club agreed a 20 million euro deal for the 25-year-old, however, there is no official announcement from the website of the clubs. Digne already expressed his intention to leave the club and told his teammates his future is knocking at Goodison Park.
Everton Equally Interested In Mina
Not just Digne, Everton is also interested with Mina and it seems they are going to close the deal by taking both the player from camp now.
Center back, Yerry Mina struggled to feature himself in the first team of Barca last season. Colombian star might be looking to depart from the club to take upon a new challenge.
The 23-year-old Colombian joined camp now in January and since then he hasn’t been seen in the club jerseys quite often. Moreover, Barcelona is not convinced with the performance that the center back showcased and decided to cash him this summer and reinforce new talent to the team.
If both the deal is finalized, Digne and Yerry Mina will become their second and third signings respectively after Richardson. Everton will look to strengthen their team by the likes of Sandro and Lookman as they are yet to return from the loan spell of the previous season.
