Helped a couple of people out with 433 so i thought id post it for others who might need help with the formation - When i say Moon i mean my friend Darth Moon who also plays 433 but in a more attacking sense
When it comes to GKs it doesnt matter who you chose as long as theyre good of course like Hart/Buffon/Lloris/Cech/ blah blah
As for the defence Moon likes his full backs to be offensive where as i prefer more defensive coverage and with the added coverage of defensive fullbacks this gives me the freedom of choosing more attacking players for my RCM and LCM. The work rates for the defenders i tend to look for are
LB - Medium/Medium or Medium/High
RCB - Low/High or Medium/High
LCB - Low/High or Medium/High
RB - Medium/Medium or Medium/High
The only different with moon is that he likes his full backs to be High/Medium, i can understand where hes coming from because when the fullbacks push forward it draws opposing defenders out of position because of the added threat of more attackers but the risk of being hit on the counter on Fifa 12 is very likely so i like the defensive minded fullbacks - I Also tend to go for taller fullbacks such as Ivanovic, Kolarov, Danilo, Abidal ect. Ive also changed the way i like my Fullbacks to be this year, i dont mind them pushing forward because the gameplay of Fifa 13 is allot different and you need more options to pass to when someone is pressing you non stop.
Defenders id reccomend: Chico, Kolarov, Ivanovic, Danilo, Insua, Badstuber, Santana, Marcelo, Miguel Lopes, Richards, Terry, Garay, Mangala, Caceres and Benatia.
Midfielders: Work rates are crutial here more than anywhere else, you lose your midfield and you lose the game lol. Get a defensive minded midfielder first the best ive used are Tiote, Fernando, Javi Martinez, Alonso, Javi Garcia, John Obi Mikel and as much as it pains me to say it .... Sergio Busquets Make sure your defensive player has a very good interception rating and has the work rates Medium/High or Low/High i prefer Low/High because they sit back really far and if i cant push forward i go back to them and build my play back up again teasing the gaps and picking the killer ball with my other two CMs. The Left and Right Midfielders for me tend to be CAMs that are converted to CM make sure the work rates are Medium/Medium or Medium/Low if you want a straight up play maker, big reccomendations for this are Ozil and/or Gotze, players like Ozil and Gotze do get forward but not as much because their attacking workrate is Medium, this makes them linger more around the center of my midfield allowing them to influence play. Then if you want players to really join in the attacks then go for High/Medium or High/Low players like Pastore or Gourcuff, these players will push forward ALOT more and you can do quick one twos with the wingers and your striker to slip them into the box or try from distance.
In essence i try to make my midfielders in terms of workrates look like this:
RCM - Medium/Medium or Medium/Low
CM - Medium/High or Low/High
LCM - High/Medium or High/Low
The CM holds and sits back covering the Defence acting as the anchor and a constant outlet when you can always go forward aswell as cutting out counter attacks from your opponent and intercepting passes.
The RCM just sits dead in the middle pulling the strings always being available for short intricate passes aswell as playing killer balls into the channels and out wide.
The LCM is constantly attacking like a Zidane role bursting through the middle make quick one twos with the wingers and striker to get behind the Defence or play the attackers through on goal for an assist.

For my front three i always go for a big striker unless its Falcao lol. The best strikers ive used in a 433 are : Cardozo, Giroud, Falcao, Dzeko, Gomez, Lacina Traore, Emenike, Balotelli and Immobile. There are lot of others who are good too but they stand out ALOT. Make sure your striker is either comfortable with the ball or has the strength to hold the ball up, having both these abilities is perfect and the one who actually has both out of the strikers ive mentioned is Dzeko, the other strikers dont have the consistency when it comes to dribbling but Dzeko definately does. And for work rates with a striker there are three that should be used in 433 which are:
Medium/Low - This for a striker who you want to get the ball soon and link up with other players such as your midfield or wingers because they arent always on the last man (Players who are good at shooting from range also thrive with these workrates) - Dzeko
High/Medium - The strikers will be able to sit back and link up a little bit but once youve had the ball for a little bit say 30 secs-1minute in your possession, they then begin to make darting runs and sit on the man waiting for the killer ball which is probably the best work rates to choose from tbh.
High/Low- This is for strikers you only want to do one thing with and thats just run through the defence. When youve got play makers like Ozil and Gotze plays balls through gaps in the defence a striker with High/Low with latch on to them and get you goals all day long. Emenike has High/Low workrates but playing the killer balls is abit boring for me and i try to link him up with play as much as i can to mix up what i do and make myself unpredictable.
Strikers to use: Cardozo, Giroud, Falcao, Dzeko, Gomez, Lacina Traore, Emenike, Balotelli, Immobile, Diego Milito, Soldado, Damiao, Osvaldo, Ibrahimovic, Gignac ..... This one might sound stupid but early on in the game i used Bebe and he did really well for a Bronze
Wingers: Whether your wingers cut in or not doesnt matter, if you want a winger to cut in make sure they have 4* or 5* weakfoot for when you do cross the ball and if you have a big striker or Falcao who are more than capable of heading a ball then you need to have that option.
Make sure your wingers are either High/Medium or High/Low workrates because you want them drawing their fullbacks out whenever they can so that your striker has only the centrebacks to battle with and when your midfielders join the attack their centre backs will struggle to block or read the ball going into the striker.
Wingers to go for : James Rodriguez, Robben, Ribery, Schurlle, Shaqiri, Hulk, Gaitan, Ronaldo, Neymar, Ben Arfa Sturridge, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Briand.
In terms of workreates for the front 3 i like to have:
RW - High/Low or High/Medium
* - High/Low or High/Medium or Medium/Low/
LW - High/Low or High/Medium
